From humble beginnings to becoming Connecticut's beloved pizza destination

Founded in 2018, Punch Pizza was born from a simple dream: to bring authentic Italian flavors to the heart of Connecticut. Our founder, Marco Benedetti, grew up in his family's pizzeria in Naples, where he learned the art of traditional pizza making from his grandfather.

When Marco moved to Bantam, he noticed the community was missing that authentic Italian experience. With his grandmother's secret recipes and a wood-fired oven imported directly from Italy, Punch Pizza opened its doors to share the true taste of Naples with Connecticut families.

Today, we continue to honor those traditional methods while embracing innovation, creating a dining experience that feels both familiar and exciting. Every pizza is hand-stretched, every sauce is made from San Marzano tomatoes, and every meal is prepared with the love and passion that defines Italian cuisine.
